Martial Arts

Chinese martial arts culture has a long history, rich heritage, and many schools. Among the people, they are divided into internal and external schools. Internal schools focus on softness and are stored inside, while external schools focus on hardness and are strong outside. From the perspective of health and sports, internal boxing is easy and soft, while external boxing is strong and powerful, but in the end they both need to cultivate both inside and outside to make the body evenly developed. Internal schools regard Wudang as their ancestor, and martial arts represented by Tai Chi, Xingyi (Xinyi, Liuhe, Yiquan), Bagua, Tongbei, etc. are mostly called internal boxing. Internal boxing emphasizes intentional practice, and can be practiced by anyone, regardless of strength or weakness, old or young. This column focuses on the study and research of internal boxing.
