The Three Self-Scriptures of Zhaobao Tai Chi Master Zheng Jun:

Nature: Tao follows nature. It means to follow the laws of nature, or to say that everything must follow its natural laws. Tai Chi is no exception. It must follow the natural laws of the body and everything must be smooth. From the mind to the movements of the body, everything must be natural. So what is natural? In Taoist terms, it is “inaction”, like children playing, without intention or action, so Zhaobao Tai Chi is called “playing boxing”.

Automatic: Automatic is the manifestation of nature in the body movements when practicing boxing. The body movements are smooth and natural, and the kinetic energy and potential energy are naturally converted without any force. Walking in circles and drawing circles, not flat or convex, falling naturally, one after another, this is powerlessness. If nature is unintentional, then automatic is powerlessness. Nature is a psychological requirement, and automatic is a physical requirement in exercise.

Self-respect: Self-respect is the result of nature and automaticity. Through long-term natural and automatic training, the internal strength grows quietly, and the external and internal three-in-ones become natural habits when practicing boxing. The external appearance changes from scattered to integrated, and the internal energy changes from stagnant to smooth. At this time, you will feel the weight of your own strength. In other words, your strength will increase without intention or strength, but it is not the brute force and rigid force of the past, but the whole body strength, that is, the internal strength.
