The practice of improving gastrointestinal diseases after practicing Fanhuan Gong by community members proves that practicing Liangyi Zhuang Gong and Fanhuan Gong can reduce and improve the high transaminase index of the liver. At the same time, Fanhuan Gong is a good preventive and therapeutic method for people who are overeating and have food accumulation.
In modern society, gastrointestinal problems seem to have become a common problem for people. Some people are born with poor gastrointestinal function, which leads to indigestion, while most people have to face various pressures from life and work every day. Countless social activities and irregular eating habits will affect gastrointestinal function, especially in middle age. Gastrointestinal diseases will break out more frequently. So how to effectively regulate or prepare in advance to prevent the occurrence of such diseases when encountering gastrointestinal problems? Here we introduce to you the exercises in Wudang Zhaobao Tai Chi that are very good for preventing and treating gastrointestinal diseases – Liangyi Zhuang and Fanhuan Gong.
Introduction to the practice of Fanhuan Gong
The Fanhuan Gong of Liangyi Zhuang Jiu Gong is mainly divided into six kinds of practice methods. Before doing the six kinds of split-work exercises, we need to practice Dantian Qi. First, we need to find Dantian. Assume that the line connecting the Baihui point on the top of the head and the perineum point on the crotch is perpendicular to the ground, and the line connecting the Qihai point below the navel and the Mingmen point behind the waist is parallel to the ground. The point where these two lines intersect is generally our Dantian. We use the Dantian breathing method, inhale to Dantian, and Dantian will be slightly hot, so that the hot air will circle the horizontal direction of that point, first clockwise three times, then counterclockwise three times, and then exhale. Inhale first and then exhale, in and out, the abdomen contracts and relaxes, and this practice is repeated many times, which is called Danqi. This alchemy process must reach a certain level before we can do the six kinds of split-work exercises of returning to the return.
The first split-work: Rendu Meridian Running Method
The Rendu Running Method mentioned here is different from the starting and ending points mentioned in traditional Chinese medicine. First, Dantian breathing method, adjust breathing. When you start to run, think about the Dantian Qi going from the perineum to the coccyx, from the coccyx to the Mingjiaji and then going up, passing the Dazhui, through the Fengfu behind the neck to the Baihui, from the Baihui down to the Yintang, from the Yintang to the two temples to the upper palate, then to the tip of the tongue to the throat to the Tanzhong point, through the navel to the Qihai and back to the Dantian. Do seven cycles, then return to the reverse run. In the reverse run method, the Dantian Qi goes to the Qihai, goes up to the navel, from the navel to the Tanzhong point to the throat, passes the Chengjiang tongue tip, passes through the upper palate to the Taiyang to the Yintang, and then goes up to the Baihui. Start to go down to the Du channel, Baihui goes down to the Fengfu Dazhui, through the cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, to the coccyx, and returns to the Dantian. Do seven reverse cycles.
It is best to do the first division of the exercise in a standing position. Keep your head straight and your body upright, your tongue against the upper palate, your chin slightly retracted, your shoulders relaxed and your elbows hanging, your chest held in and your back bent, your crotch opened and your waist lowered, your hips slid and your anus lifted, and your knees slightly bent. After standing properly, you should strive for smooth movement of Qi. Long-term practice will facilitate success.
The second sub-practice: Internal Organ Qigong
Internal Organ Qigong is to move inside. After Dantian breathing is adjusted, Dantian Qi first moves to the liver and gallbladder, then to the right lung, through Tanzhong to the left lung, down to the heart area, then to the spleen and stomach to the intestine area, and returns to Dantian. This is seven cycles. Then do the reverse cycle, Dantian Qi moves to the intestine area, to the spleen and stomach area, then to the heart area and left lung, through Tanzhong to the right lung, down to the liver and gallbladder area, and from the intestine area back to Dantian, another seven cycles.
Doing this exercise is still standing, but it requires slow movement, so that the diaphragm between the viscera and the chest cavity floats and sinks with the movement of Qi, which is equivalent to massaging the organs, intestines and stomach, enhancing the functions of internal organs, promoting the movement of internal Qi and blood, and greatly improving the functions of each body.
The third sub-gong: Kidney Gong
The kidney is the innate foundation and the source of human life. Protecting the kidney is as important as protecting the heart.
After the Dantian Qi is adjusted, lift the Qi to the navel, go along the abdomen, go to the right, go to the right side of the waist, go to the right kidney, pass the lumbar spine, go to the left kidney, to the left side of the waist, to the inner side of the left abdomen, return to the navel, and return to the Dantian. When doing it, the mind is running. After a long time, it seems that there is a flow of air, warming the waist. There are seven reverse cycles for seven cycles. Reverse cycle, Dantian lifts Qi to the navel, from the inner side of the left abdomen, go to the left, then pass the left kidney, pass the lumbar spine to the right kidney, go to the right side and the inner side of the abdomen, and return to the Dantian through the navel.
This exercise is also practiced in a standing position. You must be serious when doing it, promote the operation of Qi, let the true Qi affect the kidneys, strengthen the kidney function and improve the quality of energy, so as to develop the innate strength and overcome the acquired dead strength. This is the purpose of the kidney exercise.
Fourth exercise: upper limb exercise
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, raise your hands forward as if holding a Tai Chi ball, with your thumbs level with your shoulders and your palms facing each other. The difficulty is: breathing from Dantian, but focusing on Tanzhong, that is, inhaling to Dantian and returning to Tanzhong, walking from Jianjing to Jianyu on the left, then to Quchi and Shousanli, through Waiguan to the fingertips of the five fingers of the left hand, from the left fingertips through Laogong, through Neiguan to the inside of the elbow, through the left Jianjing back to Tanzhong, adjust your breathing, and start walking to the right Jianjing and Jianti, walking from the right Quchi and Shousanli to the right Waiguan, the five fingertips of the right hand, from the fingertips of the right hand to the right Laogong, walking from the right Neiguan to the inside of the time, and returning to the right Jianjing to Tanzhong. After seven cycles, do the reverse cycle. After regulating the breath, go to the left shoulder well from the right elbow, through the elbow to the inner gate, through the left Laogong to the fingertips, from the left fingertips through the outer gate, the hand three li, the right Quchi back to the right shoulder well, back to the Tanzhong. Regulate the breath, go to the right shoulder well from the right elbow to the door and winter gate, through the Laogong to the right fingertips, and then to the outer gate, the hand three li, the right Quchi back to the right shoulder well Tanzhong, the cycle is complete. The upper limb division of the breath is difficult to do, you must do it slowly, the mind leads the breath to keep up, take some time to complete, to achieve twice the result with half the effort.
Fifth exercise: lower limb exercise
Upper limb Qi movement, practice Tanzhong and Laogong, then the lower limb Qi movement method is mainly to practice Dantian Tongyongquan, Yongquan is at the sole of the foot, the most grounded, Danqi descends to attract the ground Qi to combine, so for this exercise, we must pay more attention to it. When running, stand with your feet open, slightly wider than your shoulders, and your hands hang down naturally on both sides of your legs. After the Qi sinks into Dantian and the breathing is adjusted, first walk to the inner side of the left thigh, down to the inner side of the knee joint to Sanyinjiao, and then to Yongquan. After adjusting the breath at Yongquan, walk to Zusanli again, return to Dantian through the thigh root, and adjust the breath again, walk to the right thigh root to the right Zusanli, go down to Yongquan to practice Qi and adjust the breath, walk to Sanyinjiao inside, the inner side of the right knee joint, and return to Dantian through the inner thigh. Seven cycles, then do the reverse cycle: Dantian Qi → inner side of right thigh → inner side of right knee joint → right Sanyinjiao → Yongquan, practice Qi and adjust the breath → right Zusanli → right thigh root → return to Dantian, adjust the breath → left thigh root → left Zusanli → Yongquan, practice Qi and adjust the breath → left Sanyinjiao → inner side of left knee joint → inner side of left thigh → return to Dantian. Seven cycles, the lower limb exercise is completed. Although there are changes in the practice of lower limb exercises, they do not deviate from their essence, and understand the mystery and get the key points.
Sixth sub-gong: Whole body exercise
Based on the first five sub-gong exercises, the Dantian has been trained to have a sense of Qi and can move freely. Next, we need to practice whole body exercise. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place your hands in front of your legs with your palms facing forward. Dan Qi flows through your hands, and the Laogong acupoints of your hands become hot. Slowly hold your hands forward, as if holding a ball of Qi, and hold it above the top of your head. Use your palms to send this ball of Qi down from Baihui in a three-dimensional manner, to the forehead, to the eyes, to the two noses, to the mouth, to the throat and to the two shoulders. At this time, the Qi should also cover the two shoulders and arms, and go down, passing through the chest to the two lungs, and sending the heart to the liver and gallbladder, passing through the spleen and stomach, and passing through the two intestines. When the hands are completely lowered, the Qi of the mind should also be sent down, to the lower limbs to the Yongquan. Wherever the Qi held by the hands passes, it will become hot, and the Dan Qi will cover and nourish the whole body. When the Qi reaches Yongquan, both hands return to the initial position. Then, hold the Qi and raise them up in front of you, sending the Qi over your head. Repeat this cycle over and over again, slowly moving it down. Doing more cycles will yield unexpected results.
