Tai Chi Lying Exercise

Lying Exercise has two types: lying on the left side and lying on the right side. It is suitable to lie on the right side after eating. The method is:

When lying on the side, the pillow is level with the shoulder. When lying on the right side, bend the right elbow, place the palm of your hand facing up on the pillow, and use your head as a pillow. Place the ear between the index finger and thumb (this method can make the ear empty and not blocked); or place the palm flat in front of the temple, sink the elbow and relax the shoulder. Stretch the left palm and place it on the left Huantiao point (the position of the inner side of the thigh when lying). The right leg is naturally straightened, the left leg is slightly bent and stopped on the right leg, the left knee is above the right knee, and the left foot is above the right leg.

After lying in this way, the mood is calm, the breathing is natural, the joints of the whole body are relaxed, and the qi sinks into the Dantian naturally. The postures of lying on the left and lying on the right are exactly the opposite. This lying method makes the body and mind comfortable and natural, the circulation of qi and blood is balanced, and it is also easy to fall asleep. The so-called “sleeping with bent arms, enjoying it” is this.
