I am a Tai Chi practitioner, and I have benefited from practicing Tai Chi for many years. In a lucky time, because of my pursuit of the mysterious color of Tai Chi, I met my girlfriend, who is a yoga practitioner. I am very lucky. We once quarreled over a word, a breath, and a theory of Tai Chi and Yoga. We changed our attitudes because of Tai Chi and Yoga. It is really strange. Tai Chi and Yoga are both pursuing a kind of harmonious unity of body and mind between man and the universe, man and nature, and man and man. But they pursue it in different ways, and their goals may eventually point to different directions, but the goal of pursuing harmony between body and mind makes us unconsciously connect them together.

The culture of Tai Chi and Yoga is an ancient symbol of civilization. Let us go into this world to see what benefits Tai Chi and Yoga will bring us.

Tai Chi, if you blindly pursue high difficulty, you might as well practice parkour. If you blindly pursue beauty, you might as well learn dance. If you blindly pursue health preservation, you might as well learn Chinese medicine. If you are only pursuing fighting, you might as well learn Sanda. Tai Chi is not a single sport, it is a comprehensive sublimation;

The same is true for yoga. It is an elegant sport that improves the harmony of the human body, mind and spirit. If you are only pursuing the technique of the asana, you might as well practice gymnastics. If you are only pursuing beauty, you might as well learn dance. If you are only pursuing body shaping, you might as well practice fitness.

When practicing yoga and Tai Chi, you must learn to enjoy the process of “practicing”. Blindly being soft is the understanding of yoga by laymen. Tai Chi is the same. They are from the inside out, practicing body harmony and pursuing the precious wealth of harmony between man and nature. Learning Tai Chi does not require natural generosity. It is suitable for everyone. Natural and gentle relaxation really allows you to enter the source of Tai Chi. Maybe you will feel uncomfortable, maybe you will feel that the slow pace makes you boring, but as long as you learn to enjoy the process of “practicing”, you will enter a space of inaction and achieve the transformation of body, mind and spirit. Learning yoga does not require natural softness. Stiffness is just the beginning of yoga, and softness is the inevitable result of yoga. When practicing yoga, there will be some pain, but that pain itself is a journey to health and happiness. It is a transformation and an improvement of life and energy. Learn to enjoy this process, and you will enter another kind of elegance and tranquility. Yoga will take you to experience the transformation of body and mind!

(Tai Chi Mind) Mind – is the essence of Tai Chi, Tai Chi is also called “conscious gymnastics”. The natural and gentle movement of Tai Chi is guided by the mind to open your Tai Chi journey. It will open your wisdom and enlightenment, develop your inner potential, and let you understand yourself better and feel yourself. (Yoga Meditation) Meditation – open up the power of exploring inner wisdom. Daily meditation can clearly perceive the body and mind, perceive emotions, explore thinking patterns and cognition, and slowly remove negative emotions in the body, deeply dig out the inner consciousness, and perceive the subconscious! Connect with the five elements and perceive the inner self! Tai Chi and yoga are both a kind of comprehension movement in pursuit of harmony between body and mind. It is soft, relaxed, elegant and natural. It pursues the unity of man and nature, and the balance of yin and yang. Long-term practice can bring infinite benefits to the body.

Yoga and Tai Chi combine traditional guiding and breathing methods, focusing on the close coordination between body training, qi training and mind training. On the one hand, it can exercise muscles and relax tendons and activate joints during practice; on the other hand, it can massage and exercise the internal organs through the coordination between breathing and movement, so as to achieve the effect of strengthening the body. When practicing Tai Chi and yoga, you need to be aware of your body, and the mind is very important. With awareness and mind, you can coordinate inside and outside, feel the harmonious balance of yin and yang inside, and use the human body structure and mind to stabilize the body and joints while ensuring that the bones are in the correct position (abbreviated as the correct position) outside. Long-term practice can well protect each joint and make the human body reach a perfect state.

Practicing Tai Chi and Yoga can increase the sensitivity of the nervous system. The mind control of Tai Chi and the meditation of Yoga can effectively sublimate the human brain nerves (soul). The human brain is the center for coordinating the functions of the internal and external organs of the whole body. Any movement instructions of the human body are issued here. Long-term practice can well exercise the human nervous system, prevent the smooth flow of the central hub of the human nervous system, and enhance the sensitivity of the nervous system.

Practicing Tai Chi and yoga can well improve cardiopulmonary function. When practicing Tai Chi and yoga, you should keep your breathing natural and solid. Through deep, long, fine, slow and even abdominal breathing methods, you can increase the gas capacity of the chest cavity and increase the number of times you breathe in and out of carbon, ensuring that the gas can be fully exchanged, and relatively increase the oxygen intake of various organs. Through a relaxed, soft, natural and harmonious way, using breathing and thoughts to drive the body’s stretching and movement can effectively improve lung function.

Practicing yoga and Tai Chi can effectively promote blood circulation and achieve the effect of detoxification. Yoga exercises can accelerate the heartbeat and the circulation of oxygen-rich blood. Tai Chi is continuous, soft and quiet, and all the bones move. Both are experiential exercises that promote metabolism and blood circulation in a gentle way. Almost all yoga courses can make you sweat, and almost all Tai Chi practitioners can have a sense of qi. And it can massage and stimulate the excretory organs through twisting and bending postures. Long-term practice of yoga and Tai Chi can promote blood circulation and metabolism in the human body, and achieve good results in toxin excretion.

Yin and Yang are not only the macro-summary of the laws of cosmic motion in Tai Chi theory, but also the guiding ideology of yoga. They are all a kind of exercise that pursues harmony between the human body and mind, and harmony between Yin and Yang. In yoga, for example, Hatha Yoga, “Ha” means “sun” in Hindi, “He” means the moon, and “Yoga” means harmony. From these literal meanings: we can well understand that they are all pursuing the harmony of body and mind in the world in different ways to exert their own value. Their ultimate goals may be different. Tai Chi is a martial art, and its essential characteristics are attack and defense, and it is a skill. No matter how they change, both of them are developing and surviving in the pursuit of a harmonious space of nature, and they are both symbols of ancient traditional culture.
