1, Back Silk Buckle
Back silk buckle is the principle requirement of Zhaobao Taijiquan practice and martial arts push hands. In practice and push hands, on the basis of the overall operation of the whole body, back silk buckle is mainly manifested from the movement of the hands. When practicing, the movement of the two hands is always one yin and one yang, constantly switching between each other. Generally speaking, one hand is on top and the other hand is on the bottom. The movement of the two hands is forward and reverse, and the conversion of the two hands is carried out according to the law of yang changing to yin and combining. One hand is six yang, the other hand is six yin, one hand is five yin, the other hand is five yang. And so on. The mutual transformation of yin and yang of the two hands is closely linked. This is the back silk buckle in practice.
The back silk buckle of push hands is mainly to combine with the opponent’s yin and yang in addition to the mutual transformation of yin and yang of your own hands, and to find opportunities to attack in the combination of yin and yang with the opponent. In the mutual transformation of yin and yang with the opponent, I must grasp the changes of yin and yang. The opponent uses six yang in reality, and I use six yin in virtuality. The lines of both hands are closely linked like the curves in the Tai Chi diagram.
After the back-threading practice of the hands reaches a certain level, the back-threading movement should also gradually appear on the body. At this time, the martial arts will reach the realm of freedom.
2, Thirteen-style techniques
Zhaobao Tai Chi requires that each style of practice must be practiced with thirteen words, which are “round, up, down, advance, retreat, close, open, meet, resist, out, enter, lead, fall”, that is, one circle, two yin and yang, four images, and eight trigrams. This is the secret practice of Zhaobao Tai Chi.
In the application of pushing hands in Zhaobao Tai Chi, at the beginning, the thirteen-style techniques are used first with single words, and then gradually mixed and increased, from one word to two words, three words, four words… The highest realm is to do thirteen words together in one movement.
