Tai Chi pursues: form is invisible, intention is not intentional, and the intention is true in the unintentional. It is a portrayal of the advanced realm of internal martial arts. There must be one or two people in each school who can reach this realm, but not everyone can achieve it. The pursuit of modern martial arts is: “Every point on the body is springy, and the whole body is a killing weapon”; “The incoming force cannot enter, the outgoing force is unobstructed, the whole body rebounds, and the offender is defeated”; the emphasis is on “hundreds of bends, even the waist is boneless, and the whole body is hands when it is spread.”
- This skill is completely different from any school today, but the effect is very fast. It is a realm that most schools cannot reach in their lifetime. It can be achieved by practicing this skill diligently for half a year to a year, but practicing this skill absolutely requires a good martial arts foundation such as flexibility and comprehensive quality. People without martial arts foundation should not practice it-although it will not go wrong, it is a waste of time. In fact, this skill was previously only available to the disciples of the head of the sect, and it was not passed on. The secret skill that was truly passed down from generation to generation is based on this. Practicing this skill must be mastered and practiced to achieve twice the result with half the effort.
- Support the sky and the earth: stretching the tendons and pulling the bones
Cross your fingers and palms upward to the top of your head, look at the back of your hands, stand on tiptoes and stretch all the joints of your body as much as possible, and stretch your tendons and bones when you exhale. You must fight up and down, and repeat 49 times when you inhale.
- Move the universe: open the chest and wide bedding method
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, relax your shoulders and back, and use your palms to roll your shoulders inward without force, and try to open your back. When you reach the limit, your hands are facing outward, and then slowly unfold along the original path, and your palms gradually turn outward, and try to open your chest. When you reach the limit, your palms are on the side of your body with your palms facing outward. This opening and closing is one time, 49 times.
Note: When practicing this posture, you must have the idea of rolling your entire chest, back, ribs, abdomen, and waist forward and inward and expanding the whole body outward, otherwise the effect will not be great. This posture is not attached because of the internal power.
- Tianshi Alchemy: The Three Circles of the Spine
- First practice the horizontal, vertical and oblique circles of the Jinzui, then practice the thoracic, horizontal, vertical and oblique circles, and finally practice the horizontal, vertical and oblique circles of the lumbar and sacral vertebrae.
- Three Circles Practice: I refer to the “standing, horizontal and oblique” three circles practice of teacher Li Zijian. It is the simplest to practice with the palm as the inductor. The wall-facing exercise is to stretch the distance between the vertebrae and repair the dislocated vertebrae to lay the foundation for the compression and trembling of the spine. The Three Circles Exercise can be practiced for about half an hour every day. Practice forward and reverse first, or practice left first and then right. Do not practice too hard. The above two methods are also the secret methods of internal family power generation. The Three Circles Exercise is actually the internal exercise of the Xinyi Gate—the exercise of shooting Dantian and rubbing Dantian.
- Qi Ru Baimai Method: The Qi Refining Method into the Bone
- Close your feet and relax your whole body.
- Then cross your hands over your head, palms facing up, arms straight, then relax your shoulders and arms, and gently rub your crossed hands as if holding something up. Cross your wrists and draw a vertical circle from front to top to back. Your shoulders, arms and elbows should shake accordingly. The spine shakes in order from cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae for a total of 18 times.
- Then separate your hands, palms facing forward, arms close to your ears, then lean your head forward, arms stretched forward, waist and back relaxed, the spine of the chest and waist arched backward, head and hands draw an arc downward, so that the waist bends forward and curls down, and forms an arch in front of the legs.
- With your palms facing the ground, press the front, left and right of your feet 18 times respectively, then pinch the Kunta point behind your ankles 18 times, return your hands to the front of your body, and gradually straighten your back in the form of arching your waist. At the same time, your arms close to your ears and recover with the head rising. This is the third form, and you only need to repeat it 18 times. Increase the number of times as time goes by. After finishing the exercise, practice the wall pose 18 times.
On the surface, this exercise is not much different from the general bending method, but its essence is completely different. When practicing this exercise, all the joints of the spine should be relaxed, and strive to curl up each joint of the spine from top to bottom, rather than bending down all at once. Remember, remember! When straightening your waist, lift your waist up, one section at a time, and slowly move up, not just straight up and slowly return.
The important thing about this exercise is to practice the “qi” of the governor channel and bladder. By loosening and stretching each spinal joint, the contraction function of the back muscles, fascia, and ligaments can be strengthened, and the sensitivity and elasticity can be increased. After becoming proficient, increase the difficulty, slowly curl down, and straighten each section at the fastest speed, so that the “qi can enter the bone marrow” can be enhanced. The instantaneous adaptability and the whole body can be sealed. The back–the contraction will not have any weak points on the back. After practicing for a long time, you can reach the highest level of martial arts “not a feather can be added” and “feel before touching”!
