Apr\u00e8s avoir perfectionn\u00e9 ses comp\u00e9tences, il devint le garde de Li Tangjie, un v\u00e9t\u00e9ran de trois dynasties de la dynastie Qing. On lui a accord\u00e9 le titre de Wu Xinlang. Un jour, alors qu&#039;il traversait Handan, il montra la force int\u00e9rieure d&#039;un poteau en bois de cire et d&#039;un acacia pour avertir un roi de la montagne locale de changer ses mauvaises habitudes.
