Er ist ein Sch\u00fcler von Ren Changchun. Er stammt aus Yizhuang, Kreis Boai. In der sp\u00e4ten Qing-Dynastie war er ein Sch\u00fcler von Wenxiang. Er diente als Mitglied des Kampfkunstmuseums der Provinz Henan. Er fungierte als Richter, als 1935 in Kaifeng ein Kampfkunstwettbewerb abgehalten wurde. 1935 ver\u00f6ffentlichte er das Buch \u201eDas authentische Taijiquan\u201c. Dieses Buch war das erste \u00f6ffentlich ver\u00f6ffentlichte Material des Zhaobao Taijiquan.
